Private Ridelogs
Syncing Trailforks to Strava:
If you have set your ridelog recorded using the Trailforks app or synced from Garmin to PRIVATE, then Trailforks WILL NOT sync the ridelog to Strava.
As Strava no longer supports uploading activities as private, we cannot keep the privacy of your ride when syncing to Strava. If you want your rides to sync from Trailforks to Strava, these rides must be made PUBLIC on Trailforks.
Syncing Strava to Trailforks:
If you are syncing in the other direction, from Strava to Trailforks, we retain the privacy of the activity. If an activity is private on Strava, the activity will remain private on Trailforks when synced.
Activities synced through Strava are not able to be shared on the Feed or externally with any other Trailforks users. We recommend syncing your device directly to Trailforks to retain Trailforks features and allow for you to have more options with sharing your activities.
For more information on device syncing and privacy, please see this article.

Selecting "Sync to Strava" in the App
When you are done recording your ride in the Trailforks app, and you go to to 'Save the Ride,' you can toggle ON the "Sync To Strava" option. The toggle state will be remembered the next time you save a ride, but this choosing to 'Sync to Strava' can be done on a per-ride basis.
If you do not have your Strava account connected to your Trailforks account, the 'Sync to Strava' toggle will not be available to you when saving a ride.
Sync to Strava on Web
You can manually choose to sync specific ridelogs to Strava. Click on your ridelog on the Trailforks website after logging in by navigating to the right-hand drop-down and clicking on 'My Ridelogs.' On the right-hand side of the page, there will be a grey "Sync to Strava" link that will enable you to sync your ridelog to Strava if you have previously properly synced your Strava account from the settings page.
