You can edit the trails that are auto-tagged when a route is added using a GPS track. If you have copied over a route using the GPS file under the Copy Route functionality, sometimes your route doesn't exactly line up with the Trailforks map. The wrong trails may be tagged or you may wish to edit trails that you don't want to appear in your route.
Here's how to edit the trails tagged in a route:
1. Navigate to the route you wish to edit, and click on 'edit route' under the 'Add/Edit' drop-down menu on the right-hand side.
2. On the right-hand side, you'll see a list of trails.
3. You can remove the trails by using the red 'x' icon on the right-hand side of the trail. You can also move the order of the trails by clicking on the 'compass arrows' logo to the left-hand side of the trail.
4. Click 'Submit.'
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
