Trail reports can be scheduled to be published and/or expired on trailforks.com. Scheduling Trail Reports is a handy feature when you want to schedule the temporary closure of a trail for a trail maintenance day or a race event.
A bike park can also schedule the closure of their trails at the end of the season. Scheduling trail reports also works with the bulk reporting tool.
1. Go to the trail page.
2. Click on 'Add Trail Report.'
3. Fill out the details for the trail report.
4. Go to the 'Scheduling' section under 'More Options.' Under the 'Scheduling' section, you can specify the date/time that the trail report should go live.
5. The trail report will then be published on the date you've specified.
6. You can also specify an expiration date if you wish the Trail Report to expire; the trail report will revert to the previous trail report.
7. When viewing the report, you'll see a disclaimer showing when the report will be published and when it will expire.
8. You can click to view your scheduled reports on your profile.
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
