Badges are a great way to get more people riding and exploring your trail network. Trailforks auto-generates several generic badges for city regions around the world. As a region admin, you can create custom badges for your region that add local flair.
Our ridelog badge system is robust with many criteria combinations available.
Adding a Badge
1. To add a badge, first navigate to the region.
2. Click on 'More,' and the 'Badges.'
3. Go to 'Add/Edit' on the right-hand side, and select 'Add Badge.'
Example below
4. You can add a Badge Name and description.
5. Then upload a Badge logo.
6. Add the trails that the Badge applies to.
7. Double-check that the location and other details are filled out as you'd like them to be.
8. Click 'Submit.'
The video below demonstrates the creation of a simple badge where the rider must ride 3 specific trails on a single ride to unlock.
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
