How to Replace a GPS File on trailforks.com
If you need to replace an existing GPS track with a new GPS track for a trail, you can do so under the 'Edit trail' page.
1. On the trail page itself, go to 'Add/Edit' > 'Edit Trail.'
2. On the Edit Trail page, select 'Replace track with new GPS/KML file.'
3. You'll be asked to select the new GPS file you wish to download.
4. The new GPS track will show up on the map as a purple line.
5. You can edit points or crop the track as needed on the map itself.
6. On the edit page, leave a note as to why you've edited the GPS file.
7. Hit 'Submit.'
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video.
