How to Edit a GPS Track on trailforks.com
1. Go the trail page itself, and click on the 'Add/Edit' dropdown menu.
2. Click on 'Edit Trail.'
3. Under 'GPS Track,' you can 'edit track' or 'crop' the track.
4. If you 'Edit Track,' you can see individual points that allow for you to edit points on the trail specifically.
5. The yellow line that you see next to the track shows a 'heatmap' where other users have submitted ridelogs, and this will allow you to see where the trail more closely follows.
6. Once you've made the edits you want to, click 'Submit'.
7. As a user, your content will be reviewed and approved by an administrator.
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
