How to Change the Rating System of a Region
If you wish to change the rating system of a region from the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBDA) standard to another global rating system, or vice versa, you can do so by editing the region.
The IMDA rating system has difficulty levels of green, blue, black, and double black.
To change the rating system:
1. Find the region you wish to edit.
2. Under 'Add/Edit' menu, select 'Edit Region.'
3. Under Trail Rating System, found under the map, you can change the rating system.
4. You'll be asked to leave a note as to why you are editing the region's rating system.
5. Once the rating system change has been approved, any trail added/edited to the region will take on the rating system that you have set.
The video below shows you how to toggle between the IMBA standard and the UK - European Rating System.
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and website today. Trailforks has undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown in the video. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
