Here's how to add a bike to your Trailforks profile:
1. Click on My Profile after signing into Trailforks
2. Click on the dropdown menu for More > Bikes.
3. Go to 'Add Bike': you can add the year that the bike came out, the brand, the model, and bike type.
4. If you have a photo of the bike on Pinkbike, go to the photo's URL, and cut + paste the number at the end of the URL, which is the photo's ID number.
5. Enter this number into the 'Photo' section 'Add Bike' to save a photo of the bike.
Adding Components
You can add bike components in a manner similar to the one outlined above by going to the 'components' tab next to the 'bikes' tab.
If you're noticing that the accumulated mileage for your bike/gear components is not correct, you can try to recalculate your ridelog stats. If you're still noticing inaccurate mileage, it may be because you've removed and re-added components to your profile.
When you re-add a component, the 'install date' for the component will remain as the original date of when you first added that component to your profile. This will cause your recorded activity to re-calculate usage of the component from that original date. If you manually click on the 'Refresh Stats' link on the bike page, this will also cause the activity to re-calculate usage of the component tracing back to that original date, leading to potentially inaccurate totals.
Note: the functionalities shown in the video may differ slightly from the UX offered in the app and Trailforks website today. Both have undergone a number of release updates, and if you have kept your Trailforks app up-to-date, you should see a more updated version of many of these functions shown. We have kept the video up on our help center as it still serves to show users the many features that Trailforks offers!
