With the release of version 2025.4.0 of the Trailforks iOS app, you will have the ability to view and select previously downloaded routes on your Trailforks Apple Watch app.
To learn more about saving a Route on your Trailforks app, please see this article. After adding or deleting any routes to your Trailforks wishlist on your iOS app, be sure to hit 'Refresh Routes' to see any edits made to your Routes wishlist.
There are two ways of selecting a Route on the Trailforks Apple Watch app:
Route Selection Screen
- From the main Apple Watch view, swipe left to get to the Route selection screen.
- From the Route selection screen, you can choose a route and select your activity type.
- The activity type for the route will be pre-populated based on the activity type that the route was saved under.
- You can change the activity type before hitting ‘Start Activity.’
- On the map screen, you should see the route loaded in yellow.
- If you wish to remove the route while recording an activity, swipe to the right to get to the Settings view.
- Tap on the ‘Gear icon’ to pull up the settings, and tap on the Route listed at the top.
- You can then choose to ‘Clear’ the Route from your map screen.
You can also choose another Route to load onto your map screen.
Main Settings Screen
- From the main Apple Watch view, swipe right to get to the Main Settings screen.
- From here, you can select a route by tapping on ‘No Route Selected.’
- Selecting a route will load the route on the map.
- You can then navigate back to the main Apple Watch view, and select the activity you wish to start the recording with.
- If you want to remove the route on the map screen, swipe to the right to get to the Settings view.
- Tap on the ‘Gear icon’ to pull up the settings, and tap on the Route listed at the top.
- You can then choose to ‘Clear’ the Route from your map screen. '
- You can also choose another Route to load onto your map screen.
