The Trailforks Watch app can be used to seamlessly record an activity or ride while viewing your place on the map.
Opening the Trailforks Watch App
When you first open up the Trailforks Watch app, there are two views:
1. Activity Type Selection (Mountain biking, Trail running, etc.)
2. Main Settings
The main settings include:
1. Trail Coverage: Map Regions
2. Auto-pause for Biking/Running
3. Activity Recording (Set to Sync automatically, will be set to ‘unsynced’ if activity is pending sync)
4. Units (Metric or Imperial)
While Recording
Once you are recording, there are four views:
1. Pause/Resume, Water Lock, and Main Settings
2. Metrics (Timer, distance traveled, speed, heart-rate, calories burned, elevation lost/gained)
3. Map
4. Music view (if no media is actively playing, a message will show ‘Not Playing’)
Finished Recording
Once you have finished recording, you will see the option to ‘Save’ or Discard the activity. This screen will show the Activity Settings:
The activity settings include:
1. Privacy (Everyone, Only Followers, Only You)
2. Map visibility (Hide Map - yes or no)
3. Activity type (Multiple options)
