Trail listings can include a wide variety of details including the building association and the date. If one of your trails is missing this information, it's simple to add it. Just click the yellow 'Add/Edit' button at the top right corner.
Add Trail Builder Details
1. Under the yellow 'Add/Edit' button on the top right corner of the trail's page, click on 'Edit Trail.'
2. Under the 'Edit Trail' page, you can add or edit a date that the trail was created.
3. You can also edit the Sponsors, Builders, or Maintainers of the trail:
Sponsors: a company or bike shop that wants to sponsor a trail, the trail association would manage this. Typically, the sponsors last a year.
Builder: The builder of a trail can be in the trail-builder directory; searching for the building association will link to their directory listing. If it's just an individual who built the trail, you can tag a person's account directly.
Maintainer: typically, the trail builder will build a trail and then pass the trail along to another individual or organization who is responsible for maintaining the trail.
Official Reporter: Local trail association has an official reporter program, which is more of an internal feature.
We want to ensure that the local trail association is present first and foremost on the trail page to avoid the trail page becoming too cluttered and ensure that the trail association receives the attention needed.
