A Ridelogs location is determined by the following:
- When first being processed Trailforks uses the starting lat/lng of your ride to find the closest "ridingarea" region marker if within 5km radius that also supports the ridelog activity.
- If none found, it then looks for the closest city region marker within 30km.
- If none found then it looks for the closest region marker of ANY kind within 220km.
Now later on in the Ridelog processing, if trails are matched to the ride, then the most common region among the matched trails is used.
