Map Background Blank When Offline?

All the trail gps tracks & text descriptions and meta-data are stored offline in the app. But the background map tiles, whether its Google Streets, Satellite or our custom topo are not stored offline.

The app and navigation is still usable offline, you can see your location and the coloured trail lines, just not the background.

You can get some of the background tiles offline if you pre-cache them. Pan & zoom around the area you are going while still online, this will cache the tiles.

We hope to someday offer a feature where you can select an area to download the tiles for 100% offline use.
